Wow, this is an awesome pic! You can probably sell it on a microstock photography website like the ones I listed below, under the people and concepts search listing. I have been working on selling my own photos, and have several that were just listed the other day. I am an amateur photographer and am already selling my own photos. I don't know how successful I will be, since I can't devote a lot of time to my photography thanks to college, but nonetheless, It is a pretty cool system: companies can cut costs for photos by buying them from microstock sites rather than paying their own photographers, and you get paid every time an individual or company buy your photo(s). The signup for these kinds of accounts is free, and you get a cut of the pay. (the only reason it is free to register with them is because they take a portion of every sale.) Also, when a company buys your photo, they don't get the copyright, so they have to buy it a whole bunch of times, once for every time they use it! The photos never leave the microstock site, and will earn you passive income every time they sell for years to come. :D Exciting? Oh yeah! :) Have fun! (I would recommend bigstock the most, since they currently have a short waiting list for photo approval, and approvals are lightning fast!) Crestock and Shutterstock are tougher to get into since they have a skill level requirement, unlike the others, but will pay you a higher cut of your photo sales.) I would give it a go next time you find yourself with some free time, perhaps you will be a hit if you have more amazing photos like this one! :)
Cheers! :)
